Job Overview

We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer specializing in scaffold and shoring design to support our engineering projects. The role requires strong technical understanding, three-dimensional thinking, and the ability to deliver accurate and timely drawings.

You will work closely with 8trive’s Lead Design Engineer to develop detailed plans and construction drawings for scaffolding projects.

Key Responsibilities

​

• Develop design solutions for scaffolding and shoring projects

• Prepare plans, construction drawings, and step-by-step instructions

• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and lead designers

• Ensure accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of all design outputs

• Handle multiple projects simultaneously under supervision

 

Qualifications

• Graduate of Engineering, Construction, Drafting & Design, or related field

• Proven experience in scaffold or shoring design

• Proficiency in 3D AutoCAD

• Strong understanding of construction drawings and technical documents

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat (PDF)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

• Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks

• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail

• Ability to retain and apply technical knowledge for future projects

• Team player with adaptability to processes and workflows

• Willing to perform other related tasks as needed
